The McKendry lab is a multidisciplinary team of engineers, chemists, material scientists, biochemists, physicists, computer scientists, and virologists. We are engineering a new generation of tools and technologies for infectious disease surveillance, testing, and care.
The lab is led by Prof Rachel McKendry, Director of i-sense EPSRC IRC and joint Professor at London Centre for Nanotechnology and Division of Medicine, UCL.
We have been working to help in the global response to COVID-19, developing new diagnostics and analysing data for public health surveillance.
